FAS™ Shaft Wall Track provides the same great benefits as the FAS™ Track but in a shaft wall assembly. This allows for a full 1” (one inch) total deflection to carry throughout the floor from standard walls to shaft wall assemblies.
FAS Shaft DL2 provides 2” (two inch) total deflection on shaft wall assembly. No other system on the market offers 2” deflection for a true shaft wall assembly that is built from one side of the wall.
FAS Shaft Wall assemblies were designed with contractors in mind, there is no fire caulking or fire spray required anywhere within the assembly. FAS Shaft also provides more UL reports for head-of-wall, vertical wall, and bottom of wall for shaft wall assemblies than any other manufacture, making it there clear choice for Fire Marshalls and inspectors.
