Head of Wall
CEMCO’s Head of Wall (HOW) products provide for easy installation to meet Life-Safety Building Codes. Contractors can combine the patent-pending FireStik™ angle product with various track configurations, in several UL and Warnock- Hersey approved assemblies to address vertical movement and fire-stopping issues of any building. Each HOW product has been tested to the industry’s most stringent requirements as outlined in UL 2079, ASTM E-119, and ASTM E-814. These designs eliminate the reliance upon caulks, sprays, drywall rips, flute plates, and custom track profiles as well as the mobilization, labor, and material costs to install them in current assemblies.

Slotted Track CST
CEMCO Slotted Track (CST) member is used as vertical deflection track in interior non bearing wall assemblies. The U-shape track has 1½” vertical slots spaced 1” along both legs. The track section is fabricated from hot-dipped galvanized steel complying with ASTM A653, with a minimum G40 coating.

Exterior Slotted Track
At CEMCO we listen to the needs of the contractor and architect. The need for an exterior version of the slotted track has been a long time coming. CEMCO’s Exterior Slotted Track will address the fundamental properties of vertical deflection and, drift movement but will also, address alignment issues and installation needs that are currently problematic at floor line conditions. Keeping the contractor in mind, our patent pending design will provide a resting point for the exterior sheathing, an attachment guideline for stud fasteners, as well as a five-point attachment pattern in the web.

FAS Track
FAS™ Track is an exclusive CEMCO Fire Management product approach to fire-stopping dynamic joints allowing up to a full 1” (one inch) of unencumbered movement in a fire rated partition. The flexibility of the FAS™ Track product is used to protect dynamic joints in cold-formed steel /gypsum walls. The unique profile provides superior movement capabilities while eliminating any additional requirements of fire caulk, fire resistant sprays, drywall rips, or contour drywall cuts around fluted decks. The single source product allows 100% unencumbered movement while experiencing no fatigue to the fire resistance during the life of the assembly. This and all of the quality products offered by CEMCO are made in America.
